Well, I got good news and bad news on housing next year.
We're not going for the house, because my potential housemate's financial situation just changed for the worse. I'm less upset about not moving off of campus than she is, partially because I've spent the past two months expecting it to not work out as hoped for.
The good news is that we're going to room together next fall at Moore. And Abby, I've already told her that I'd promised to room with you spring semester if things didn't happen with the house, so that will work out nicely. And since I'm going to be on the first floor, Dad's very happy that he won't be carting my refrigerator up three flights of stairs.
It also means that some of the pressure of trying to find a job for the summer is off, because I already have enough in my account to get me through fall semester on campus. I still want to find work, but it does give me some leeway with Dayton's lack of jobs.
