Oooh, good meta! I have to admit that I'm not a huge fan of Ziva (although I'm getting used to her now) but this made me think about things more.
The reason I didn't care for her came early in her service to NCIS and Gibbs let her 'interrogate' a citizen with it being heavily implied that she had experience with violence/torture and that she either emotionally or physically intimidated the person. The idea that a foreign national was allowed to interrogate an American citizen by herself and even the mild implication that Ziva was allowed to do so because she could do something that Gibbs couldn't really bothered me. To be fair it really bothered me that Gibbs allowed it as well.
