Jul. 14th, 2006 09:09 amTo-do list:
Fill out the scholarship appeal form for school. (0.7 credits shy of the scholarship requirements because I didn't realize how things would transfer from a quarter system to a semmester system, but apparently UE is used to situations like this and as long as I fill out the appeal form I should be fine and get to keep my scholarship. Thank God that nagging your advisor gets results.)
Work on my Frank and Alice story request. (halfway done, I'm stalling out on dialogue a bit, but I only need to finish this conversation with Dumbledore and think of an ending.)
Work on the Neville and Luna story. (again, halfway done, but Luna's viewpoint is hard to write and get her voice right.)
Work on the Reinette story. (I've got a later chapter written and I know the basic outline of what should happen in this chapter, plus the line I want to include at the end of the discussion, but getting from A to B is going to take some work.
Watch NCIS, Stargate, and Atlantis, squee madly.
Work on the crossover story a bit. I wanted to watch at least one episode of Atlantis again before I set the next chapter there.
One question, where did the "I'm not a fic writer" Margaret go? The one who, up to a few months ago, was convinced she would never really write fanfic, just do beta work and be happy with it? Because that to-do list up there, which consists mainly of working on half-completed stories? Would never have been my to-do list a few months ago.

There are twenty tons of hassles, and this is from a college that prides itself on being student-focused. I'd hate to see what it would be like at a place where the administration wasn't so willing to work with us.
*huggle* I'm really glad you love the fic. Trust me, that's what makes it worth working on when I want to yell at the characters for not working with me.

Since you did such a good job with Susan, how about an Eowyn fic? I'm thinking, the moment she decides to become a healer instead of a shield maiden. I think there's some wonderful subject matter to cover there about being a woman that kinda echoes what you wrote about Susan.
