I slept in a bit today, but still managed to get dressed in time to wait for my ride to church.  Only it never came.  Sad, because I was looking forward to the song we were going to do today. 

Oh well, at least I got my laundry done, and for free!  Some corporation was sponsoring it, and we didn't have to pay to use the washing machines. 

While I was shelf-reading at the library today I ran across one book that made me go into geeky-squee.  Someone put several of Tolkien's Middle Earth songs to music!  And my college library had the book!  This made shelf reading the music section worth it.

And I got bored enough to do that doll meme that was floating around livejournal a few weeks ago.  Basically, you go to the doll maker site: http://elouai.com/doll-makers/candybar-doll-maker.php  and you make a doll that looks like you, and then a mary-sueified version.  So this is me:

Not quite as sparkily as I could have gone, but she's got wings, that automatically makes her a sue.

I find I'm the same way. I prefer my friends' real dolls. They look like someone you can enjoy. Sues are scary.

Thank you. Yeah, natural red head, I was born with three orange streaks running down my head, luckily it's grown and darkened from there.
