May. 1st, 2006 08:29 pmI love my cat. I really, really, love my cat. Do you notice that he's still alive?
I'm sorry, I'm not really that annoyed with my cat normally, but he decided this morning that he needed to cuddle up tightly, which means I was tripping over him every other second.
Before philosophy class, a girl in my class came up to me. She was so apologetic, because she'd borrowed a pen from me last Monday and then after I was sick on Wednesday she'd lost that pen. So over the weekend she'd gone out and bought me a new pen. I was just shocked that she'd even thought to give the pen back, as ninety percent of the time if I lend a pen or pencil out I don't ever see it again or expect to see it again. Yet here she'd bought me a new pen, and one that looks like it cost twice what I paid for the pen I lent her? Not that I don't appreciate it, but I was a little shocked.
I had my philosophy midterm this morning, which I thought went well. I probably could have written longer on my essay, but overall I feel good about it. We're done with the Greeks now, and it's on to Augustine and Aquinas. Let the arguements begin!
And then I actually had a good conversation with a few of the guys in my art class before it started, which was fun, but rather unusual.
In fannish news, I've finally cracked my block on the Elizabeth Weir essay for idol_reflection. I should have it up in a few days in it's first draft, and I'd appreciate any comments/criticism, no matter how brutal. Feel free to point out anything I forget or don't cover well.
