I woke up this morning to my cat mewing around a mouthful of dead bird. Really not the thing you want to see first thing in the morning.

Luckily, Dad was home and Mom and I forced him to pick up the dead bird. Some things you just shouldn't have to deal with.

Aside from that kerfluffle, today is going to be somewhat busy. Yesterday I got a call from our family friend, the one I babysit for on a regular basis. She was calling to remind me about a job that we'd set up a month ago. Problem is, even though I'd marked it down on the calender in our computer, both Mom and I forgot to check it. And since Mom and Dad are going to pick up Sara this morning, she needed me here to watch the kid whose parent's couldn't arange other babysitters. Luckily, Liz agreed to just take her kids over here, so I don't have to physically be in two places at once. I just now have four children to watch in the morning. If anyone in Ohio happens to hear a large whumping sound around 12:30 today, it's probably just me collapsing in a heap.

And one of the kids has just been dropped off. Talk to you guys later.

In the interest of prompting me to actually write more, I'm putting up an challenge to myself. The first ten people who comment with a character and a prompt will get a short story/drabble. I'd prefer Harry Potter*, Chronicles of Narnia, or Doctor Who challenges, but you guys know my fandoms, and I'll at least try anything you give me.
