Jul. 12th, 2006 03:46 pmWould someone care to explain why people who should know better try to call my father at two in the afternoon, knowing that he's at work? The logic of attempting to reach him only when he won't be home escapes me.
And today is one of the days when I keep reciting what my mother and I refer to as "The Mother's Prayer", ie: Please God, don't let me kill these kids today." Let's just say that one of the kids is pushing her limits and shrieking every five minutes, and I've just had to deal with an explosively dirty diaper. Taking care of small children makes for excellent birth control, there's a reason why I'm determined to wait until I'm out of college and married before I have kids.
On the more positive side of the equation, Mom made spice muffins this morning and I'm getting good reviews on my Doctor Who stories. Or at least I'm taking the comment of "I will hunt you down if you don't write more in this story." to be positive.
And a new icon! I think I'm going to use this one as my WTF/your logic is not of Earth logic icon of choice.
And I still need to post a discussion question up in huffleharmony.
