Oct. 12th, 2006 11:50 pmWow, I've been really bad at updating this week, haven't I?
My update on Renfaire will have to wait a bit longer, I'm not up to it/in the mood to talk about it right now.
So let's see, I got back late Monday night and basically hung out like a blob all of Tuesday. As much as I loved being home, and as much as I enjoyed having my friends as guests over the weekend, by the end of it I was desperate for some alone time. So I pretty much just curled up in my dorm room and ignored the outside world for a day.
And Wednesday classes started up again. We're finishing up the ecology section for Eco/Evo, which I'm kind of glad about. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it, but I far prefer discussions on evolution. This does mean that we have a test tommorow. Joy. Ah well, I'll read through the chapters tonight while I'm working.
I've also got a Math test tommorow, my teachers decided to wait on doing midterms until this week. Luckily, I don't have one in Physics, so that's one less stressor for tommorow.
As for today. I misread my Animal Behavior teacher's email, so I finished the questions on the paper for today when they weren't due till Tuesday. We both thought it was far better that I'd underestimated the deadline than overestimated it though. In fact, she was laughing and saying that that was probably the main lesson people needed to learn in college, to assume deadlines are sooner than they thought.
Physics, my teacher remains a geek in a good way. My seatmate was still shooting me concerned glances over my coughing, but at least today she didn't order me back to my room.
Fandom-wise, I've got actual ideas on stories for once. Yay. I've been very dry, story-wise, lately. I'm glad to have ideas again.
