Jul. 9th, 2007 11:04 pmIdeally, when you go to bake cookies in the evening, the oven should not be leaking enough gas to make the entire house smell.
Or, you know, enough gas to make you start feeling sick even after you escape to go sit on the front porch for fresh air.
We're going to call up the repairmen first thing tomorrow.
On the plus side, the advantage to our house being so old and, err, well-ventilated, is that even if it does start leaking again, the worst we'll end up with is more bad headaches.
On the negative side, we didn't end up with double-chocolate cookies. And we're probably going to be out more money on fixing this oven again.
In other news, I'm hunting for a beta for a couple stories I'm currently working on. I probably won't have them done by the time my current beta goes off for her vacation, and I like having someone else's eyes catch my mistakes before they go up in public. One's a straight Supernatural story, the other's a Supernatural/SG-1 crossover that I'm doing for a ficathon.
