Nov. 9th, 2007 05:38 pmThe advantage of long hair is, when you decide you're going to geek out and attempt to pull off a Star Wars hairstyle (Leia's ceremonial hairstyle, in this case), you can do it. Even without the additional hairpieces she had in the movie.
I registered for my classes for next semester today. My adviser and I had already pretty much worked them out, but there's always that bit of uncertainty until you get things set. As of right now, I'm taking my Senior Seminar (Effects of Modern Technology), Genetics, Latin, Theology and Story (which instantly reminded me of you,
hermionesviolin), and Prophets. Four out of the five are 300+ level classes, and the last is Latin, and we're going to be doing large amounts of translations in that class. I'm going to be buried in work, and probably loving every minute of it.
So those classes, plus a summer term taking at least eight credits, and I'll be done with my undergrad. *cheers*
I also found out yesterday that a paper I was hoping to get a C on gave me a B. Considering how much I felt I was forcing it, and how much of my energy was focused on the fact that my roommate's life had just gone nuts, I'm happy with it. That means that I'm doing well in all my classes so far this term. I still need to write my religious autobiography for that class, and she said those normally raise grades, which is of the good. I've got my preliminary ideas for it, I just need to figure out how to connect up the main experiences into a coherent story for her. I'll work on that this weekend.
