Aug. 12th, 2007 11:10 pmThe results of an afternoon spent cooking your bed sheets:
1. Fingernails that look vaguely necrotic, in the I-got-blue-dye-underneath-them way.
2. Sheets that are now a lovely medium blue, instead of pale blue with grungy looking bits that didn't go away after multiple washes and two attempts at bleaching.
3. Chair covers that don't have faded out sections. (Or if they're there, they're much less obvious now.)
Overall, I'd consider it a success.
We also made Sara really happy at church this morning. She loves the big events with the special music, and today for no apparent reason, we had trumpeters playing at the ten-thirty service. She was grinning and bouncing and craning her neck back to watch them at the prelude and postlude. Whoever arranged for the music for this service needs a big hug for making her happy like that.
And Dad is tickling my neck and shoulders, so I assume he wants me to also mention the fact that he made dinner tonight and that it was delicious.
Thus goes life in the mari-land.
