Nov. 22nd, 2009 08:26 pmI haven't posted much for the past few days. At least not in public. On the other hand, I think my yuletide filter group is about ready to gag me and take away my keyboard for a few days.
For the most part, I've been trying to pretend that this month hasn't been happening. Between my brother having relationship woes that I can do nothing about, my one sister having health issues out the wazoo that I can do nothing about, my school entering new levels of how to seriously tick me off, a cousin on my father's side of the family being seriously injured, my mother being stressed about all of these aforementioned issues, and friends of varying degrees of closeness having their own troubles, November has just not been good.
On the bright side, I did find out this weekend that I do not, in fact, have to work on Black Friday. Which is, seriously, the best bit of news I've received all week. Also, one of my friends from high school that I never get to see anymore, owing to the unfortunate detail of her career being centered in Texas, is in town this week, which means I get to tacklehug her in person.
And Yuletide is no longer killing me, which is of the good.
