Oct. 24th, 2010 08:39 pmSo, when my local group of friends actually approaching my age hold a Halloween party, three of us actually show up in costume, I bring any food that doesn't involve simply opening a box, bag, or jar, we mull cider in a rice cooker, and then proceed to play Apples to Apples for about three hours straight.
Saying that, of course, doesn't even begin to describe how much fun it was. Or how much it reminded me of being in college in terms of the geekiness and insanity.
...I think I was also the only one in the group who wasn't at least somewhat attracted to women.
The pumpkin pie was a definite success, but as usual, the spinach rolls stole the show, and there were absolutely none of them left to take home at the end of the evening.
One week till Nano starts.
