May. 13th, 2013 09:50 pmTell me I'm not the only one having wording fails this week?
I have two things I'm trying to write, and the concept for both is in my head, but nothing is coming out as anything other than incredibly stilted and awful.
Seriously, it should not be this difficult to e-mail your parish secretary and ask her to put a note in the church bulletin about how to contribute YASC donations. I can understand my brain flailing on updating the official YASC blog, because I can't just ramble like I do on lj, I'm supposed to look at least somewhat composed and thoughtful on there. It's not even like last year, writing "great stories" for Americorps, where I had to bs sometimes because there wasn't always a great story every month to tell. I've got something I want to say, I've got the original kickstart of a theme going nuts in my brain, it just doesn't come out as anything useful or meaning what I intended.
Bleh. Alcohol. Alcohol and fanfic and not looking at either passage for the rest of the evening are what is called for in this situation. It's precisely what I prescribe for friends and family when they hit crazy brain weasels like this. I should take my own advice for once.
