Okay, so my host family has left for the summer. Therefore, my computer is finally up and running, so I'm not heading out early or staying late at the computer labs at school to get on. I also now have a large chunk of my music accessible, and my story files/documents that I can again access.

Oh computer, I've missed you.

I've been contemplating writing meta again. (This would be a good time to run in terror.) So far I've been bouncing between something about Narnia and what it gave each of the Pevensies, or a discussion on why Donna is such a perfect companion for the Tenth Doctor right now. Any preferences? I'm also thinking that the Narnia one might work better as a fic instead of a meta.

In other news, we had our first actual class for Pop Culture, and we spent part of it looking at fansites and fanfic. This is going to be a fun class.

Because I heart Donna (more so then Rose, and in a totally different way then Martha) I'd personally request for the DR. Who meta. Just to see if you pick up on the same ideas I have, but are better able to formulate them.

The first couple of Donna episodes (not counting the pre-Martha Christmas special), I thought she was obnoxious, but now she's growing on me. She and the Doctor have a very interesting dynamic.

Planet of the Ood sold me for the character completely. I like how their relationship is more like a brother/sister (hitting sarcastic comments) relationships rather than a more romantic one. Plus Donna is older than the other recent companions, she has been around the proverbial block and has a really down to earth attitude about everything, especially when stepping on a new planet, while the Doctor waxes on about the natural beauty, she thinks it's cold and goes gets a jacket. But that's just my 2 noncents.
