NCIS episode 3.02

I liked this episode a lot.

Things I noticed.

1. Okay, how many people are going to jump on the revealed Gibbs backstory in this episode? I know I've read a few people who believe that he lost a child, and they just recieved proof.

2. I still love Abby. She is so becoming my absolute favorite character, instead of it being a tie.

3. I loved the funeral scene. The flashbacks as each character placed the rose? So well done, and so suited for each person. And then Abby brought out the tape player, and marched off with the NCIS crew!

4. I want someone to write something featuring Gibbs looking at Abby as a surrogate daughter. He is so paternal around her.

5. Well done confrontation with Ari.

6. I think I now like Ziva. If they keep up her character development as such, she's got real potential.

Yes, that was so perfect. Could easily have been overdone, but they managed a delicate balance that, like you said, brought out both Kate's character and the character of each colleague.

The Gibbs and Abby story...I think that one goes after the McKay/Weir ficathon story, and after Pas de Duex.

Blood & Water should be done sometime in between Pas de Deux and the ficathon bit. So it won't interfere.

Let me know if you need to bounce ideas off of me for the ficathon one. I think if you can get it done in around 10-12 days, that will give me plenty of time to edit it and send it back to you for any rewrites.
