Jun. 18th, 2008 09:47 pmUpdate on the week so far:
1. I am now done with two of my classes for the summer (okay, I need to turn in a test for one class, but I'm doing that tomorrow along with selling that book back to the bookstore).
2. My housemate is feeling less sick and miserable. And she informs me that I am now two for two on being uncomfortable around her boyfriends who later go creepy/not good on her. She also told me that she plans on making me vet any new guy because of this supposed radar.
3. I think I'm in love with certain aspects of Narnia fandom, at least on the pit. I've had some wonderful comments on my fics, and a higher percentage of people are commenting and favoriting these than they have for my other stories. And at least most of the badfic is easily distinguishable by the first few lines of the summary, so I end up liking most of what I read.
Aside from that, this meme's been going around my flist for the past week or so, so it's probably about time for me to do it as well:
If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, even if we don't speak often, please post a comment with a memory of you and me. It can be anything you want — good or bad. When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people remember about you.

Date: 2008-06-19 03:52 am (UTC)Hmm...memories...my freshman year, spring semester, when I had just crocheted my pink halter top, and we were trying to sew the backing to it. There weren't any machines in the RoR that were working, and you told me that sewing machines are like cats - they only like one or two people. It makes me smile still.

* where evil = creepy
3. Awwwww.
Memory: You and LJ are pretty much perma-linked in my head, so this one's of the two of you, in chat, gleefully talking and dropping hints of Ties. I loved watching/reading the two of you. (And this is sort of related to the pep-talk thing the other day, but I've loved watching you grow. From a pep-talker/alpha/beta/hasher-out to a writer in your own right.)
