...Because if I haven't yet, I have been extraordinarily lax.
Mom got me her latest book over the weekend, and I'm about half way through. I have several things I love about this book.
1. Reasonable development of the characters. They've been through a lot, together and then separately, and this book doesn't deny that, or handwave over the difficulties of dealing with the adult versions of your childhood friends.
2. I have a feeling that at least one of the characters is going to end up in a canonical lesbian relationship. And it works so well with her personality, and makes sense in the character development.
3. Tris is seriously starting to remind me of Rodney. And that leads my mind to Atlantis, and therefore to seeing if any of the other characters correspond to Atlantis folk.
4. And the plotting is good. I can't wait to see where it goes from here.
