Sep. 23rd, 2008 09:47 pmOkay, so my sister's bridal shower went off without a hitch, at least from my pov. We had enough food for everyone, and the house was about as full as I could have actually handled, so I'm just as glad that the girls from her work didn't show up, even if we had originally arranged the time specifically for them.
Also, white chocolate rasberry cheesecake? Is still made of awesome and win. I'm rather gleefully thinking about the slice waiting for me in the freezer.
In other news, I'm officially graduated from UE. Okay, I already knew that, because I'd called up the school and made sure everything was on track, but yesterday they mailed me the actual diploma, so I have the piece of paper to prove it. I'm now feeling a little less like the carpet is going to be pulled out from under my feet. *breathes a sigh of relief* Okay, on to the next step then.
Of course, the preparation for massage school just had to include my doctor turning me into a pincushion today. Three different vaccinations and a TB test are not the most fun you can have in a day. Plus the reactions to the shots left me rather tired and achy all day, to the point where I actually did take a painkiller by dinner. Erm, at least the flu vaccine I ended up getting in the flu-mist form? One less needle that way. I still don't want to lift my arms above my shoulders today.

Congrats on your graduation. Go Purple Aces! If it makes you feel any better, I forgot to pick up my degree. I had to have them mail it to me almost a year and a half later.
