mari4212Yay! I just got fired!
...Erm, yes, that was an unironic yay, there. I was working at a hardware store, at a job which started out as a "just for two months during spring" job last year, and which got dragged out into a once-a-week on Saturdays job for the past year. As my sister/supervisor was pointing out, I also have what amounts to a full time job helping Mom with the kids, I just don't get paid for that. So on Saturdays, I was working a part time job at a place where I was never very happy, on top of having already worked a full time job all week. And for a while there, I was also working Sundays at church.
I also am still having issues with my blood pressure, and twice in the past month have had to leave from work, or miss work completely, due to my dizzy spells knocking me flat. So when she had to start cutting hours, I was the best choice.
And I now have my weekends back.
