Okay, I promised an update, so I'll do it if it kills me.

Friday: I watched the first episode of Firefly, along with both "Trinity" and "Instinct" from SGA. This time I did catch the fact that Jewel played Eleia, which made "Instinct" more interesting. I also caught more of the B-plot of "Trinity", which means that the Ronon/Teyla digression now makes more sense to me. Other than that, Friday was pretty calm.

Saturday: I did some shopping, and went to the theater department's production of "A Little Night Music". They did a wonderful job with it.

Sunday: Church, work, and a conversation with the geeky guy. The choir actually did two songs this week, instead of just the normal offeratory anthem. We started out doing "Simple Gifts" as an introit, and then did "Teach the Child" as the offeratory anthem. Fun, and I've now got "Simple Gifts" running through my brain.

I'd write more, but I've got a terrible headache. Right now the artifical cherry flavored liquid tylenol is looking good, and that's saying something.

And a possible Harry Potter essay-bunny has taken over my brain. Any interest in it, or should I just throttle it? I'll probably end up writing down bits of it, as I have a paper to type up for tommorow and I won't be able to write it until I write the essay-bunny. Why do these things always attack when I'm trying to write something important?

Yes! Very much! Do your paper first, of course, but interest is definitely present here.

The essay, or the paper? ;)

It's a human being's natural tendency towards procrastination, only it's got an excuse that "well, I'm doing something productive, even if it's not what I'm supposed to be doing" added to it, so it doesn't seem that way.

Yeah, that probably made no sense.

The squirrels made me do it.

The essay. I might end up at least jotting down the main ideas for it, because I'm not sure if I'd concentrate on the paper otherwise.

Depends on the specific essay topic.

It would be about the structure of the novels, how book four serves as a hinge point, where the novels start reflecting back at each other. Book five reflects a lot of the characters and themes of book three, same for book six and book two, and what that could mean for book seven. I've seen the theory floating around before, but I keep wanting to do my own reflections on it.

Am joining in and saying YES! to the essay-bunny. That sounds really interesting (plus I just like reading your essays.)

And I hope the headaches gone by now. *hugs*

Is it bad that I am a person who likes the taste of artifical-cherry-flavoured Panadol?
