Okay, what I said about too cold yesterday? I really, really, mean it.

Now that that's out of the way, on to the update on my life. Right now, that's hovering around being rather boring. I helped make dinner last night (pork stir-fry, rice, and curry), and Mom and I watched the tv guide channel because they had a special behind-the-scenes thing with NCIS. That had a couple of fun moments, especially when I starte shouting out corrections at the tv. I also found out an interesting quirk. You know all the cool machines in Abby's lab? They're all real. Everything there works. Fun.

I woke up this morning feeling slightly inspired actually, and I'm blaming that show, because it's all NCIS related. Right now I have meta about Abby going on in the back of my brain.

Actually, I'm not terribly warm :). It's chilly in the mornings (40-ish) and living in AZ has thinned out my blood, so I'm shivering in 60s. ah well :)

*looks at you, looks at the thermometer* I'm not going to mention that it was twelve degrees above freezing as the high for today. I'm not going to mention the fact that it was zero degrees overnight. I'm really, really, not going to mention it.

Besides, a cold Christmas with hot food beats near 40C temps any old day. :P We had that Christmas 02. It was terrible. So we played Word-Up [a distant relative of Scrabble] and sweated.

Snow weather can happen above twenty degrees Farenheight. There's snow on the ground, but it's too cold to enjoy it. Of course, extreme heat isn't that much fun either.

Abby meta is definitely coming. I just rewatched the beginning of the season again, and it needs to happen.

Oh I love NCIS! Abby is one of my favorite geek!girls. :) I didn't see the special, but I read online once that she went to the real NCIS offices to learn how to run things and look like she knew what she was doing.

Well, while you freeze, I will boil. It's supposed to hit 35C this year. Which, I suppose, is better than the 38 they were saying a couple of days ago.
