ljmckay, we won! They just announced the winners in the Isis awards, and we won best episode-related Mckay/Weir.

That interrupted a rather bad day, otherwise. Mom's gone to the see the doctor, hopefully he can do something to stop the cold she's got, or at least alleviate the symptoms. However, that leaves me with the kids today. They're actually not behaving that badly, but they are loud, and excitable.

Forget what I just said, Audrey just had to go look at the wall and is fussing about it. Why, exactly, do I like kids so much? I know there's a reason, I just forgot it.

Sorry your day is being crummy. Kids are so darn extreme; adorable as all get out one day and then devil spawn the next. Hope your mom gets some relief, and you!

The kids were better, Mom's worse. The doctor confirmed that it was bronchitus I'm forcing her to lie down and sleep.

Her last comment was that if it was this bad for me, she understood exactly why I needed to come home.

Tell your mom that I'm sorry to hear she's under the weather. And don't go too insane due to the kids, just maintain the proper level of insanity. And congrats with the thingy that I know next to nothing about. Hopefully tomorrow (today? Man it's late) will be better.
