I think I first met you on the longhair community site and one of us asked the other if we could friend one another.

Since that day, I’ve always looked forward to reading your journal entries. You’ve got a poet’s way of looking at the world, which tends to leave me smiling when you post happy things, and upset for you whenever you post something sad.

You’ve always struck me as being extremely intelligent and very whimsical, an excellent combination to find in a friend.

I love your passion for life and for history, it's very evident in your words and actions.

And I have to admit, there’s a part of me that really envies how long your hair is.
