I finally figured out who my Physics teacher reminds me of. Alton Brown from the food channel.

Sorry, that was just niggling at me.

In other news, I think I've pretty much been appointed as Vice Minion in two of my clubs on campus. Vice Minion, in any other club but those two, would be VP. I get to be the heir to the throne and take over when our fearless leaders go away. For someone who never wanted to be in charge of anything, this is rather amusing.

H_E has started up again, so I'm going to be scurrying around doing work for that. Again, if anyone on my flist wants to apply, I'd be glad to sponsor them *glances at jediravenclaw* That means you, Lierin.

It think I would have learned a lot more in physics (not to mention just enjoy it more) if I'd had a teacher who was like Alton Brown. I got one of his cookbooks for Christmas last year, and read it cover to cover the next day.

I ended up being president of my campus chapter of Habitat for Humanity last year somewhat against my will (I had taken the trouble of restarting the group, so they thought I may as well keep running it), and while I, too, have never wanted to be in charge of anything, it was a pretty rewarding experience in the end. I still don't want to be in charge of anything, but at least I'll have more confidence that I can do it.

Right now the resemblance is mostly superficial, he looks similar and his voice is close. It'll probably take a few weeks for me to decide if he's similar in personality.

At least I have a semester to learn how to lead the costuming club before I take over, and a year to learn how to run Medieval Society. Right now I just do whatever my leaders tell me to do, with a smile.

So far he just looks similar. I haven't seen him enough to tell if he behaves the same way, though the teaching style (giving more information than needed, then focusing down on the relevant facts) is similar.
