Ah, campus open houses. Large troups of high school seniors and juniors wandering aimlessly through campus, getting quickie tours of the library while never actually leaving the main lobby, and generally being underfoot.

I liked it better when I was the junior visiting campus than I do as the college student who's tripping over them and being forced to go to the opposite side of campus to grab lunch. Even if the opposite side of campus is only a block away, it's still a nuciance.

On the plus side, we had a meeting of Malkin's Marauders today. Costuming club on campus. I ended up spending two hours sketching ideas and coming up with suggestions for other people. Plus, apparently I'm not the only person who's great at figuring out colors on other people but horrible at doing it for herself. I ended up with two projects planned for myself for this semester, and a few things that a friend and I are going to figure out for her. And since she can actually draw and have it coming out looking good, she did the sketches. *glees*

And on another gleeful note, I managed to tutor someone else in physics and make them understand it. No, pigs did not start to fly in formation overhead at the thought.

They are invisible pigs. Did you understand any better after explining it to someone else? @)---))----- (rose)

You realize you wrote this comment signed in as Dad, don't you?

Invisible pigs works for me.

Actually, I understood it all pretty well, but it did help me make sure I could articulate it.
