So this prompt randomly occurred to me. I'm definitely not going to demand that you write it [though I'm still v. much in a DW mood, so I vote for anything DW], but I thought I'd throw it out there. (If you don't end up writing, I might eventually...)
As you may or may not know, there's a lot of discussion about what happened in those few seconds between the Doctor's first offer to Rose to go with him & the second - whether or not a lot of time passed for him & so on. So, with that in mind, use that time frame for Nine to meet Ten post-Doomsday. Ten, of course, tells him to go back for Rose, and Ten doesn't exactly tell Nine why Rose is gone, but Nine gets the general idea so he KNOWS that he's going to lose Rose. Then Nine tells Ten not to give up or something. Maybe Nine even finds out more about losing Rose than he really he should, so he does that whole modifying-his-memory thing that's become almost cliche in the fandom & that's why Ten doesn't exactly remember Nine encouraging him to get Rose back.
I'm quite proud of my request. I demand attention and positive reinforcement! Either that or more good fic. And I really do promise I will get around to watching Dr. Who so I can read all your great stuff. Le sigh, so many good shows to watch, so much homework and work and driving...
