Dec. 8th, 2006 05:03 amThis is the first Thursday aside from school breaks that I've not been required to stay up past midnight for work since September, and guess what happens?
I can't get to sleep. My mind keeps squeaking along like a gerbil wheel. Sigh. Don't you just love the irony?
Hmmm. Not much happened today. I had an eight a.m. final exam for physics today, which could have gone better, but also could have gone a lot worse. At least my hardest exam is out of the way first. My next exam isn't till Monday, Animal Behavior, and I don't think it's cumulative. I'll re-read the chapters we covered, glance at my notes, and be good to go. But keep your fingers crossed for a few of the other girls in my class, okay? They're having problems because their answers for the test questions tend to be correct, but not phrased the way she wants them or with the details she wants included. I'm not sure why I've tapped into the magical frequency into our teacher's brain and they haven't, but it's making them miserable.
Math and Eco/Evo are both cumulative, but should be relatively easy. And our teacher promised that the Eco/Evo test was going to be multiple choice, not short answer. And lo, there was much rejoicing and half the class took their pins out of his vodoo doll. The other half of the class are still irked at him because of the lab presentations, so they're keeping the pins in for a while.
Otherwise, I'm kind of relaxing this week. It's too cold to want to go out if I can avoid it, so I'm curling up in my room and reading. Tommorow, hopefully, I'll be able to let one of my plotbunnies loose and work with it. But not tonight as I'm too sleepy to let an Obi-Wan muse free reign. Scary things might come of it.
And with that last ramble to convince all of you that I'm too tired to really be aware of what's coming out of my fingers, I'm going to bed. Don't let the world fall into several dozen pieces while I'm not awake. Or if you must, at least take pictures.
