mari4212Ever give someone something meant as an off-the-cuff compliment, and then realize from their expression that you just made their night?
Yeah, I accidentally just did that tonight. There was a girl at dinner with this amazing dress. Admittedly, it's one that ninety-nine percent of the population wouldn't be able to pull off, but it was perfectly suited to her and obviously a great reflection of her personality. So as I was walking by, I told her it was a great dress. And she started grinning like there was no tomorrow, and we ended up spending a few minutes talking about making clothing and other such things.
But yeah, I made a semi-stranger feel good today. Thus, as far as I'm concerned, today was made of awesome.
