Ack! An invasion of pinkness! Woe, I say woe unto thee who has inflicted said pinkness upon the face of livejournal. May your retinas burn with the fiery ire of all those who hate this holiday and all that it means, who have been afflicted with the sappiness of said pinkness.

Seriously, I like pink just fine as a color, but do we have to have the sugary-sweet pink confection as the main menu? Gah.

In other, better news, today is my mother's birthday. *huggles Mommy* I love you so much, and I'm so glad that you're my mother.

I think it depends on which format you use to see livejournal's main page. I use Horizon because I'm lazy and didn't want to switch out of the default.

If you have your LJ layout set to one of the other styles, like xcolibur... you don't get the colour change. I didn't know it had changed until someone told me and I switched it back to look.

It actually shows up as more of a purple on my screen... I think it's cute, because it's a nice change when LJ changes things up a bit. I don't like or dislike Valentine's Day, so I suppose that's why it doesn't get to me.

Whenever I'm home I'm the one who gets her roses, for special occasions and for just random days when I think she needs cheering up for some reason.

Since I'm not there to give her real ones, the pictures will have to do.

I'm kind of neutral on Valentine's, but I have a lot of friends who actively hate this holiday. I'm more annoyed on their behalf.
