Feb. 17th, 2007 09:53 pmSnowfall. Our first decent one of the season, cold enough for the snow to form and stick, warm enough that it was good snowball snow, instead of icy powdery fluff. A good two inches or more.
Ergo, Quidditch club snowball fight.
Standing around freezing/assembling an arsenal of snowballs before everybody else arrived?
Check.
Getting hit full-on by the first snowball, thus signifying the start of the game?
Check.
Running around screaming and laughing my head off while chucking snowballs and random handfuls of snow at everyone else?
Check.
Having pictures taken by the yearbook photographers?
New this year, but also check.
Stopping and restarting a few times as new people arrived?
Check.
Teaching a random road-tripper how to dance the Kourobushka in the middle of snowball fight?
Check, and a whole lot of fun.
Retreating to the Koch Center lobby to thaw out/let my gloves dry off?
Check.
Helping a girl from Texas thaw out once she came to the remarkable conclusion that "Snow is cold and wet."?
Check, and I am such a mother hen.
Plus, this year I did not forget either my keys or my gloves. Yay me!
