I got tagged on the "name your favorite fics" meme. I like it, not the least because it means a lot of people on my flist are posting really good stories that I've missed somehow. But this does mean I have to go back and figure out which fics to pull up and link in.

I'm also now kicking myself for not sticking the rest of my fics in memories. I've got a lot that I need to grab now, and I'm going to have to go back and look for them. I'll go through those tomorrow, probably.

And I need to go call my sister, see if she wants to go on a mall-wander tomorrow. Apparently there's a potential wedding dress she likes. As far as wedding dresses go, it's cheap. Plus, mall-wandering with my sister gives us some time to talk.

Do what I did... Create a writing-journal separate from your personal one. :) Then write straight to that instead. I did, and it took a while to link the stories I had on my personal lj, but now I use my writing one mainly for fics and icons :D

That's a good idea, I'll have to think about it. I think part of it is that I never really think of myself as a writer, even when I am being productive, fanfic-wise. I don't think about how to organize my stories or find them later because of that.

Ah! I have trouble coming up with tags too... but if you start with just genre/series and then couples (or characters), that should be fine (at least it'll be "easier" to find amongst personal lj entries). :)

And even just tagging them "fic" helps you find them (until you hit 100). Also, if you put even just the fandom and the title of the fic in the Subject line you can just plunk the entry in memories as soon as you post it.
