Blackie seems to be aware that I'm leaving soon, so he's going all out to get cuddles. So he's doing things like peaking over the edge of the bathtub to see what I was doing in the wet-all-over place. And then he tried to dip a paw in, to see if it was perhaps not too wet for him to jump in/try drinking it.
At which point I promptly got him a little cup full of water for him to enjoy outside of the bath. I did not want to deal with a furious, wet, cat.
He then followed me around for most of the day, demanding cuddles, food, water, or the door to be opened.

x5jondi, and we got to have a decent conversation. Unfortunately, she's not getting back here until late this afternoon, and I'm babysitting this evening and leaving tomorrow for school, so we can't manage to get together now.
The other bit of good news was thatsirutka came over for dinner and a dose of concentrated insanity curtesy of my family. He has, however, been woefully undereducated, as he has not read The Little Prince or The Elephant's Child. Unfortunately, we only had The Little Prince available in French, but we did have Dad read the Kipling to him. Kipling really needs to be read aloud, otherwise you lose all the sense of play he had in the words.
And we're in the middle of Hogsmeade, this weekend, so if I'm out of it or busy, that's why. Layren, I owe you an apology, I didn't realize that dad's aim automatically logged you in when the net goes up, and I'd logged in last night for a bit to do a Hufflechat, and it logged me in again this morning while I was away from the computer.
