Mom was joking this evening that now she knows why she keeps me around. Because I'm not at all squeamish when it comes to dealing with injuries, and so I got to clean and re-dress Sara's injured knee. So far it's looking good, no off-color seepage or unusual amounts of redness, and she doesn't seem to be in any discomfort that aspirin can't control.

I've been watching Firefly episodes from the dvds my friend lent me, and it's rather jarring going from those to watching the same actress play Inara there and the main big bad on Stargate. The similarities and differences between the two characters are somewhat interesting.

And I'm babbling. Sorry guys.

Yay Firefly! I look forward to watching Morena Baccarin's SGA arc at some point. I remember inflicting the Firefly DVDs on friends who were BtVS fans and they had real difficulty given Nathan Fillion's character in S7 BtVS (see also: Gina Torres' character in Angel S4).
