Sometimes small children can be disarmingly cute.
I've spent today and yesterday cleaning out random things that really needed it. One was the outdoor fountain in the backyard. It was almost black with the algae covering the tub and the rocks. But boy was it cathartic to scrub it out completely.
Today's, not so much. We had another attack of not!rice in a trashcan, this time the upstairs bathroom one. (There's a reason my little brother is told never to through food away up there.) Of course, Mom did tell Thomas that since he caused it, he had to clean it up, which meant that I didn't actually have to do much scrubbing today. Which, you know, is definitely good. I lose interest in cleaning when it involves getting rid of insect larva. Not sure why.
I also managed to get my ficathon story finished and off to beta yesterday evening, which means that I need to figure out which story to work on next.
Should I:
A) Finish writing the second story in the Winchester Quantum Leap 'verse. I know generally what the whole plotline of that story is, and what I want to cover with it, but it's not flowing well.
B) Jump ahead in the Quantum Leap 'verse and write a ficlet about Sam deciding not to leave for college because he knows what will happen if he do, but realizing how much it hurts to watch the dream die out.
C) Finish writing the Baby!Sam story, where Sam got turned into an infant. Pros on this one include fun scenes with Dean flailing about dealing with Sam as a baby, and fun bits of Ellen swooping in and being scarily competent, but I'm not sure where I want it to go.
D) Finish up the last of the IBARW drabbles, and the other drabble prompts I have hanging around, and post them all up in one large post.
