Having the time to stop and enjoy a lunch, savoring the flavors, and eating a sufficiency instead of cramming food down on your way somewhere else.

Reading a really good story that reminds you of why you love Star Trek so much, even if you don't always like the current incarnations.

Knowing that your parents will be here on the weekend.

Seeing a butterfly when you step outside and just stopping to look at it fly and smile.

Realizing that the shiny sparkly nail polish you put on this morning was a present from a good friend.

Good music playing in the background.

Having a good hair day.

Feeling ten times better waking up today than you did yesterday.

Stickers and a gargoyle statue on your computer.

Wearing an outfit that never fails to make you feel like yourself in it.

A flist worth hugging senseless.

Thinking about it actually was what made me happy. So many of these things do happen on a regular basis, but I don't think about them.
