Sep. 11th, 2007 10:30 pmToday was a good day, aside from my occasional (read: every ten minutes) seal imitations. Someday, I am actually going to stop coughing. I'll let you know when I figure out when that day will come.
But really, it was a good day. I understood one of my physics homework questions that I know I wouldn't have gotten last year or the year before at this point. I got a few "exactly"s from Dr. Oliver in both classes, which means I'm doing well so far there. And I managed to both anticipate the reading quiz for today in Dr. Ware's class, and get a "careful, perceptive reading" off of his first reading reflection assignment. So, you know, lots of minor little victories that make me feel like I know what I'm doing in my classes. Let's hope I can keep the momentum going for tomorrow's Latin quiz. It's a bit scary to realize that this quiz is going to cover more than what we covered in the whole first semester of last year's Latin. It makes it a bit hard to know what to study. *crosses fingers*
I've also been reading through the Television Without Pity's recaps of Joan of Arcadia, and remembering why I liked the show so much. It had great theology, and the character dynamics, especially within the family, made so much sense. Plus, snippy, sarcastic God is always win. Unfortunately, while the show was awesome, I'm having a lot of problems finding the good fanfic for it. Anyone on my wide and varied flist have recs?
