Things to squee about

mari42121. H_E is reminding me of why I do love it, even at my current state of not being super interested in Harry Potter as a fandom.
2. Specifically, loyal_badger is made of awesome and win, with the best response ever to the majority of the current applicants' lack of Puff love.
3. And also, my friend's app just got dropped this afternoon and she's getting lots of love, which is squeeful.
4. Seeing people's response to her made me realize that the majority of my friends both online and in real life are Ravenclaws to some extent.
5. I have one and a half pages out of the two required written elaborating my paper topic for my Prophets class, and I've only summarized one of the five metaphors for God that I'm going to be covering. Which means that the chances of me ending up writing a 15 page paper on a topic that I can sum up in two words (ie, my freshman year Paul paper) are approaching nil.
6. I have figured out my blazon and shield for our school medieval society. Actually, I have two of them, since I made a simple one so that![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
jediravenclaw could easily sew it for her heraldic cloak of awesomeness, and a more complex one that fit two other symbols that I loved on it.
7. I found a book on teapots at the library that I am bringing home to show my mother, and it made her happy and squeeful after fighting with taxes.
8. The weather is above freezing, and thus I am not shivering in my dorm room. Also, even though the ice storms we've been getting aren't nice, they at least were gorgeous to look at.
9. I have been giving lots of backrubs and making various different people feel better.
10. I have tea, and there was strawberry short cake for dessert tonight. (I like the fruit based desserts so much I'm half tempted to say that if and when I ever get married, I want to have shortbread with fruit sauce and chocolate sauce to pour on top instead of actual cake-cake.)

Date: 2008-02-26 09:31 am (UTC)4. YAY for lots of Ravenclaw friends. I think most of of my friends (...all?) are Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs.
6. Everyone is making blazons and shields and now I want to make one except I suck at paint...but yay for all of that anyway!
7. Hee, teapots. I've been trying to find one for my mom. Long story, but we got a beautiful one in New Zealand, but it broke. My grandparents got her one from England, but I think it is ugly so I want to find her a prettier one. So many florals...ick!
9. Wish I could steal you for a back rub! I would even give you yummy shortbread cookies that I got at the market.
