Okay, I've already got too much on my plate, both school and fannish, to do this ficathon, but I know it's an issue near and dear to a lot of people on my flist, so I wanted to let you all know.

penknife and others are hosting a ficathon with works centering around characters dealing with being non-heteronormative here: lgbtfest. penknife describes it as: stories that focus on the experience of being lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender. The fest is multi-fandom and open to stories about any characters you want to write as LGBT, whether they're canonically LGBT or not.
