mari4212So, today's been a bit of a mix of ups and downs.
Downs:
1. Realizing that, while you did grab your cd player before heading off to work at the library, you didn't manage to, you know, grab a cd to play in it. Shelving and shifting books around is far less fun without music.
2. Finding out that the book you need to read for class is not on the shelf where it's supposed to be.
3. Getting ready to walk home and watching the skies open up and a thunderstorm kick into high gear.
Ups:
1. The spinach gnocchi recipe I found tastes really good, even as leftovers.
2. My one class is over for the week, because the teacher has a conference he needs to attend.
3. Staying late at the library to wait out the thunderstorm part of the rain, I found an online text of the book I needed.
4. It's a warm day, so at least walking back a mile in the rain wasn't that uncomfortable.

I love walking(/dancing!) home in the rain. Alas, I have not been able to do it in such a long time.
