Jun. 28th, 2008 06:47 pmI think my mantra for this weekend is going to turn out being something along the lines of "you're hormonal, do not say anything you'll regret later". Argh.
Between a newbie not bothering to do any research before she decided that she wanted to do something that anyone could have told her would be stupid, and the fact that I have gotten almost nothing done today because the place that holds the things I need to use to do anything was barred all day, I am one frustrated Mari.
And okay, I understand needing time alone. Dear lord, do I understand needing time away from people. But gah, I'm going to be so glad when it's time to go home, just because I'll be able to do things again without relying on my housemate being willing to let me in her room to use my computer, or use her sewing machine to finally get the job of sewing the dress together done. She was the one who told me to set my computer up in her room in the first place, that she wouldn't mind sharing the space with me. (And okay, that's not fair, most of the time she's perfectly willing to let me be in there. It's just on weekends that it seems like I need to argue my case to get any time on my computer.)
In other news, the laws of irony still rule. I caved and bought new thread, so of course I found the original bag with spools of thread in it that I'd lost. Down in the basement, of all places. The initial block of sewing will happen either tomorrow or sometime in the next week, come hell or high water.
*takes a deep breath, then blows it out* It's been a long, frustrating day, I guess. I'm going to spend a bit longer down here, then bow out and drown my anger in chocolate of some sort.

Date: 2008-06-29 02:47 am (UTC)By the way, you mentioned something earlier about giving me a G-mail invite. As I'll be losing the school e-mail soon, can you send that to me so I can transfer everything over?
