Sep. 18th, 2008 05:55 pmThe quick update:
My family didn't lose power at any point from the windstorm, which definitely makes us a minority here in Dayton. My sister and her spouse-to-be still lack power. And three of the kids Mom babysits lost power for a few days, in fact I think two of them are in the same position as my sister and her future spouse. So we had a few days where the house was full and overflowing with small children all day.
Aside from large amounts of child care, Mom and I have also been busy making bath fizzies as favors for my sister's bridal shower. It's been a learning process, but all of them will work, at least. My hands still smell like hazelnut coffee from the scent we were working with today, which is not exactly a bad thing.
nightshadow242, I'll have the review from Sunday's class up soon. But really, if you've had a good conversation with either Dr. Stein or Dr. Oliver about anything related to Genesis and the creation story, you've heard much of what we talked about. Actually, the mass lecture given during World Cultures about Genesis your freshman year was probably more in-depth.
