The internet can be a very wonderful thing.

Especially when it serves to give me a recipe for Moravian spice cookies for my sister that does not involve me paying 20 bucks for one package of them. Cross fingers that the recipe works when they're baked up, but the dough tastes good, even with me overdoing it a bit on the cloves. Double-checking measurements is a good thing.

*glees, and gets back to baking* I still have to make the mocha cupcakes tonight. But my aunt called and informed me that there is cheesecake in the world, and it will be there tomorrow, so my sister has to show up. Were it not for the cheesecake, there is a good chance that my sister would skip out on her own bridal shower in favor of extra sleep.

Arggggg - I forgot my Fizzie!!! Margi - please save me a Fizzie!!! Mocha Please! (or what ever the coffee smelling one was - it was nummie!) I think it was hazelnut because that's the type of coffee I have every morning - Chocolate Hazelnut with a hint of carmel (OK - another coffee break please....) Oh, did I mention that I'll probably be working Thursday, Friday and Monday this week??? With munchkins??? Yes, congratulations are in order... This has turned out to be a rather 'up' day for me!

Cheesecake recipe is being written - just slowly. I wouldn't want to forget something like 'it takes about 1/2 hour to properly incorperate 2 lbs of cream cheese into 1 1/2 cups of sugar and 2 tbls. of butter that have already been creaming for 5 - 10 minutes' you really need a paddle on your mixer for this recipe!
