mari4212So, I may just possibly have bounced up and down and danced in a circle squeeing because I managed to get into contact with one of my best friends. Especially when getting back into contact included the mention of the fact that she was back in town and that very soon I can tackle-hug her with impunity.
I may still be bouncing slightly as I type this up. Because, you know, getting to see a best friend that I haven't seen since January.

In totally unrelated, but still good news, I have finally figured out the key machine at work. I no longer mess up more keys than I make, and I can now get it to work most of the time without calling someone else over. Which is, you know, awesome.
I also had a customer in today who hit me in my history geek-out bit. A couple he knew was celebrating some anniversary, and he came in to copy over a page from an NCR newsletter with their picture in it. From 1945. When the man in the couple had just returned from serving in WWII. Yeah, I so loved helping him, especially when he started telling stories.
All in all, not a bad day.
