Sep. 4th, 2009 10:06 pmIt's ten pm as I write this. In about six or seven hours, my parents and my little brother will be on the road and heading off to drop Thomas off at college.
I, on the other hand, am staying home and reveling in the solitude. If by reveling, you mean going in to work tomorrow and then inviting a friend over for a dinner/sleepover Saturday night.
But Sunday and Monday are looking like they're going to be clear, and I'm taking full advantage of the time to relax. And, possibly, go on a hunt for my writing muse, which ran away and keeps insisting that I don't actually need to write that last chapter in my Narnia reflection pieces, or the Ziva fic, or much of anything ever. My muse thinks I should just sit back and read other people's Merlin or HP fics and not possibly write my own fics.
Anyone want to toss a drabble bunny my way? You should all know my major fandoms by now, and the character plus a random word or two tends to work quite well for kick-starting my muse. If for nothing else, my muse is an imp of perverse, and the second I start writing drabbles, it'll go back and actually start working on one of the other stories.

Date: 2009-09-05 02:48 am (UTC)If you want to write while you're over, that's fine. Mostly it's just been that my brain has not been in a writing-things-space, not a lack of time to write. Besides, I'll have all of Monday free, if my brain does decide to work this weekend, it can work then.
