My roommate's been having a bit of a stressful year. So she and her parents have decided to move her into a single room for the rest of the semester.

I seriously can't make it through a single semester with the same roommate. I'm begining to think I scare them away.

Luckily, I don't think I have to get a new roommate for the rest of the semester, as it's already past the cutoff.

I'm still trying to figure out who I can room with next semester. I really don't want to move, I've had to move too many times already.

The song I'm listening to cheered me up though. Nothing like Monty Python to improve your mood.

Oh, *hugs*.

I hope you manage to find a permanentish roomy for next semester.

And how could you possibly scare them away? You're too nice. :D

Don't ask me why, I tried to get along with all of them, but I went through three roommates Freshman year, and with my current roommate leaving? Sigh. Too bad you or LJ aren't here to be my roommates.

I wish we were there to be too.

*hugs again*

something to consider

I would quite cheerfully be roomies next semester, mine's going to england anyway, but there is absolutely no way I'm moving back into morton. The estrogen levels in there would kill me.

if you do change your mind about moving I actually enjoy lifting heavy objects. makes me feel useful and gives me warm fuzzy feelings.

If you'd be willing to move heavy objects for me, I would not mind moving in with you.

But the part of Morton where I am is pretty quiet. I don't see that much of my floormates on a daily basis. So the estrogen isn't overwhelming.

morton is a scary, scary place. even if I never saw another female there, I'd be able to tell they were out there...lurking...waiting to pounce...

noise isn't a problem, I'm just much more relaxed when my females are diluted with males. maybe it's pheremones.

Where on campus do you live, anyway?

Hughes.

Hughes, second floor. Not much of the shelving you are so fond of, but I'm sure we could rig something.

I'm going to end up lugging all of my books across campus.

You sure I couldn't convince you to give Morton a chance? There's no pouncing, I promise. And there's a bunch of guys visiting, enough to drive me up a wall at times, so the estrogen could get cut a bit.

sorry.

I love you and all, but I lived in Morton my first semester and would rather play roomate roulette than move back in. I don't like the girls, the rules, the mentality, or the R.A.'s.

But like I said, I will move boxes of books. I will even force random others to help.

Um, let me think about it. I'd really rather not move, but I'd prefer to be with you rather than a random roommate. We've got a few monthes to think through our options.
