I will get this sweater for my sister finished, if it kills both me and her in the process.
This is the second time in as many weeks that I've gotten 3-4 inches into knitting the main body and then had to rip it all out. The first time, it was because I'd dropped too many stitches (the needles are slippery, and the yarn is textured enough to make it difficult to find all the stitches once they've been dropped. This time, it's because the knitting twisted when I joined it up, and I had a knitted moebius strip on my hands.
This is the last time I let someone else pick out the yarn without me there when I say that I'll make them something.
