Friday update, a little bit late.
Oct. 22nd, 2005 08:33 amGah. I'm rhyming badly in my subject line.
Not too much happened on Friday. It was garb day, so that was fun. The looks on random people's faces as you walk down to the bank in garb and a cloak are always fun. And I got so many compliments on my cloak from other students.
jediravenclaw should be happy, it was cold yesterday, and it's staying cold today. As I type this it is 48 degrees Farenheight. That's, let me see, 48-32 times 5/9 = 8.9 degrees Celsius for anyone on my flist who's on the metric system. My toes are cold.
I worked at the library, and recieved more compliments on garb and the Grandmommy blanket. I'm almost through with the first skein of yarn.
Oh, and I talked with a geeky guy who likes to cook and wants to learn how to give backrubs during dinner last night. He wanted to avoid working on his Senior Thesis, and I was a pleasant conversationalist.
I managed to watch half of the Firefly episode last night before I had to run off to chorus. We had our dress rehearsal last night. What I saw, I liked.
And I managed to scare my chorus teacher. We were practicing in close quarters, and it got rather hot up there on the risers. Predictably, I had a dizzy spell. He looked up, saw me, and ordered me to sit down right where I was standing. I was more than happy to do so.
And then I got back to my room and Hogsmeade was open. I'm having fun with it, but I'm not going to count up the points I'm earning. I don't want that kind of pressure. I am going to at least attempt one of the essays, as not too many people do those.
Okay, more happened than I thought.
