Aug. 6th, 2011 11:01 pmIt is apparently impossible to walk through the Farmer's Market if you have long red hair, without getting stopped at least two times to get complimented on your hair.
Compliments to my hair aside, I'm going to have to visit this Market more often. There were some great craft booths there, including a glass-worker and a potter, and a booth with spices and loose tea that I'm going to be visiting a lot more as I use up my current tea supply.
And on the food front, in addition to the loads of fresh veggies, artisan breads (including one with feta and spinach folded into the bread before baking that Mom and I have plans to try and replicate this fall), and freshly made local cheeses, there were also several good-looking ready-made food stalls.
reenchantress, I finally figured out one of the places Dolchessa gelato went, they're attached to another place's food booth. There was also a Thai place that looked interesting. I am so dragging you out there sometime soon.
