mari4212I have a Dalek washcloth knitting pattern. And lots of yarn to use on making several of these. Geekiness + Crafting things + Wedding Present = Win At Life. Not so win is the fact that I can't make it out to the actual wedding. I need to send a sadface can't make it off to Lierin.
Other things in the win category:
1. New Doctor Who episode, which I haven't digested enough to have thinky thoughts on yet.
2. The weather has been lovely, warm enough to be comfortable, cool enough to let me drink hot tea again.
3. I spent a good deal of Saturday with my friend Dana.
4. The other baby blanket and booties I've promised to finish this summer are done and just need to be washed before Sunday.
5. Mom and I had a fire in the outside firepit on Saturday.
6. Really good conversations with a few old friends from H_E
Not as win:
1. WTF, guy I interviewed with. Last we talked, it seemed like things were still on, and yet I have heard nothing from you. *sighs* Time to start applying for jobs with this next round of Americorps. And possibly talk to my priest about doing the first pre-seminary discernment step in January, if I don't have a job lined up by then.
Last Narnia story in the Facets-verse will go up tonight. I forgot about it last night when midnight came and went during a conversation.
